Jordan Pickell is a modern psychotherapist and soon-to-be author and speaker. Working with millennial women, Jordan helps those who are dealing with everyday problems ranging from feeling unseen and undeserving to feeling disconnected or depleted from their lives.
For the design of Jordan’s Brand Identity, her growth goals were kept front of mind. Knowing that she wants to write a book and do more public speaking, the brand had to be more about her as a professional than her counselling services.
Bringing in touches of magic and lightness with gradients, shadows, and images with dappling light, a warm and inspiring brand was created. The dark colours lend a maturity, while the gradient set (30 different gradient options!) brings in playfulness and an expansive palette for her popular Instagram posts.
Finally, little scribble and doodle details add details that feel similar to notes a counsellor might be making during a session. These small touches lend themselves well to all brand designs Jordan might need to make and pair well with the gradients and shadows.
With softness and feminine touches, this illustrative and organic brand acts as the base, allowing more colours and hand-drawn elements to be added on top of it. With a mixture of light and rich colours this identity will feel modern, approachable, feminine, and playful. A secondary colour palette gives more options for gradients on social media graphics.
