A 1-day workshop to launch a website
ABOUT
In 2017, with Salt Design Co. in its second year, we noticed that a lot of our clients couldn’t afford a fully customized website and also needed to be able to maintain it themselves with confidence.
To fill this gap we offered the LAUNCH workshop: a chance to learn from us for a day and build their own website at the same time.
We started the day with lessons on how to use Squarespace and how to design a website, and spent the afternoon working with everyone as they built their own website.
This concept enabled everyone to get the hands on Squarespace training they needed, whilst also getting a professional website at an excellent price.
THE WORKSHOP
We hosted the LAUNCH workshop twice in 2017, with just 3 attendees at each event so we could keep it intimate and allow time to have 1:1’s with everyone.
Photographer Alexa Mazzarello was on site to take headshots for everyone’s new website and we had sponsorship form Cartems Donuts, TheFive15 and Alicia Carvahlo.
